AJESA follows a double-anonymous peer-review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during the review process, where practicable.

All manuscripts submitted for peer review are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose, reproduce, distribute, or use unpublished information contained in a manuscript for personal or professional advantage.
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, evidence-based comments and should not make personal or discriminatory remarks about authors.
AJESA reserves the right to replace a reviewer where a conflict of interest, inappropriate conduct, or significant delay is identified.
